[Unit pre-requisites are shown like this] Minor in Internet Technologies Click here for advice on planning your courseMonash University defines a major as a minimum of 48 credit points (8 units) in a field of study or discipline, including a minimum of 12 points (2 units) at both the second and third year levels. A minor is defined as a minimum of 24 credit points (4 units) in a field of study or discipline, over a minimum of two year levels. When a student completes all of the requirements for a major, a note of this achievement is added to the official transcript that lists all of the units that student has taken. When a student completes all of the requirements for a minor, the School issues a certificate that recognises this achievement. Majors and minors do not appear on the BITS degree certificate (testamur).
